The building of the DLRG is at:
DLRG, Friedberger Strasse 18, 86161 Augsburg, Germany
After three days of white water training the course moves to an alpine hut in Schnepfegg, Austria. Board os organised by Berghaus Kanisfluh.

Costs

€ 1.390 withdraw to the CIC bank account (details are published on the bill)
All additional costs (lodging and full board) has to be payed cash at
Augsburg and Schnepfegg (around € 30 per day).

Aim of the course

Knowing and understanding the basic techniques in guiding, rope, swift water and rescue (self and distance rescue).

Conclusion of the Course

There is no exam at the end of module l. Every student is evaluated during the course and if the
level is good enough, it is possible to take part in module 2. After succeeding in doing the theoretical and practical exam of module 2 you will be granted the title of “CIC canyon guide
assistant”.


Notes

Each student has to have insurance for accidents.
In case of cancellation, we may charge up to 100% of the course fees.
We advise you to sign for travel cancellation insurance.
During the course we have to move for a few days to appartments of the Berghaus Kanisfluh because of an overbooking of the alpine hut.
